Big Twist! Editor Arrested in Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ Leak Case

The Tamil Nadu State Cyber Crime Wing has made significant progress in the investigation of the 'Jana Nayagan' movie leak case involving actor Vijay. After the initial arrest of six individuals, three more have been apprehended, marking a turning point in the pursuit of the main perpetrator.

The Cyber Crime Wing meticulously examined digital evidence and technical details to identify the culprits. It was revealed that the primary accused, working as a freelance assistant editor for another film, illicitly obtained access to the 'Jana Nayagan' reels at the editing studio and pilfered the content. Subsequently, the stolen data was converted into a complete movie file and circulated online, leading to widespread piracy.

The police have issued stern warnings against digital piracy and emphasized the legal consequences for involvement in such activities. They urge the public not to engage in downloading or sharing pirated content and to promptly report any instances of leaks or unauthorized distribution. This development has impacted the release of 'Jana Nayagan,' which was scheduled for January 9 but has faced delays due to the legal proceedings. Directed by H Vinoth, the film features a star-studded cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mamitha Baiju.
