Actor Yash has revealed his unusual method of preparing for his role as Lankesh in the upcoming epic Ramayana. The actor said he would play Lord Shiva songs at full volume on the sets to enter the mindspace of Ravana, who is portrayed as a devoted follower of Lord Shiva.
Speaking about his experience at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Yash said he would bring large speakers to the sets and create a serious atmosphere around him. He explained that the music helped him get into a trance-like state and connect with Ravana’s devotion to Lord Shiva, although the loud music made it difficult for others on the set to speak. The film’s trailer launch was recently postponed amid nationwide student protests demanding the resignation of former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
