As Shah Rukh Khan appeared on director and choreographer Farah Khan's chat show "Tere Mere Beach Mein", he revealed how his wife Gauri Khan lied to him to get something for herself.
When Farah complimented Shah Rukh, saying "I know that you are a very generous husband and you have given a lot of gifts to Gauri", the 'DDLJ' actor revealed that whenever he has given a gift to his better half, although she has accepted it, but 99.9% of the time, she has returned the gift and bought something else instead.
Sharing a particular incident, King Khan told the 'Main Hoon Na' maker, "I had suffered a spine injury and had to stay in London for 1.5-2 months.
I went to a shop and bought some T-shirts, but after wearing them, I felt that they were not the right fit. I was in the hospital, so I asked Gauri to return the t-shirts and buy the cotton ones instead."
Gauri told SRK that the store is not taking those t-shirts back.
However, when Shah Rukh's friends came to meet him in the hospital, they revealed that Gauri had gone to the store and had, in fact, exchanged the t-shirts.
However, she did not bring anything for her husband but instead got a handbag for herself.
"He is in the hospital, why does he need to wear new clothes?, Gauri had argued.
