Rumours suggesting that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan accepted a significantly reduced remuneration for his upcoming film with director Vamshi Paidipally have now been officially dismissed by the makers. Over the past few days, reports claimed that the actor had slashed his usual fee to be a part of the ambitious project, tentatively titled SVC63. However, the production team has clarified that these reports are completely baseless and urged fans not to believe unverified speculation. They emphasized that their entire focus remains on delivering a grand cinematic experience rather than responding to rumours.
Meanwhile, the film is preparing to kick off one of its biggest shooting schedules in Mumbai from August 6. The six-week-long schedule will feature three large-scale action sequences along with massive crowd scenes involving hundreds of junior artists. Initially planned for Hyderabad, the action schedule was later shifted to Mumbai due to production requirements. Actress Nayanthara is also expected to join the team during this phase, while the makers are aiming to complete the entire action portion by October. The film is being readied for a grand Eid 2027 theatrical release.
Speculation had earlier suggested that Salman Khan, who is often reported to command over ₹120 crore per film, had agreed to work on SVC63 for nearly ₹70 crore because of his close association with producer Rafi Kazi. Although those claims generated widespread discussion, the filmmakers have now categorically denied them. Apart from this high-profile project, Salman is also busy with director Apoorva Lakhia's Matrubhumi and is reportedly in advanced discussions for another ambitious venture with filmmaker duo Raj & DK, making the coming years packed with exciting releases for the superstar.
