A shocking murder case involving a Telangana software engineer has taken a dramatic turn in the United States, where police arrested a man nearly nine months after the death of his wife. The accused, 30-year-old Avinash Narne, allegedly strangled his wife, Rajitha Sabbineni, before attempting to stage the incident as a mysterious death. The couple, both software professionals from Telangana, had been living in Washington after their marriage, which had lasted only six months. In October last year, Avinash called Bellevue police claiming that his wife had locked herself inside the bathroom and was not responding. When officers forced open the door, they found Rajitha lying lifeless on the floor. An autopsy later confirmed that she had died due to strangulation, leading authorities to register a homicide case. Although investigators initially suspected Avinash, the lack of concrete evidence allowed him to remain free while the investigation continued.
