Sharwanand is teaming up with filmmaker Sreenu Vaitla for the first time in a new Telugu entertainer titled George Krish. The collaboration brings together Sharwanand’s versatile screen presence and Vaitla’s trademark comic storytelling, making the project one of the more interesting combinations currently taking shape in Tollywood. The film was formally launched with a traditional pooja ceremony, adding to the buzz surrounding the new venture.
Produced by Anil Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner, the makers unveiled the title George Krish at the launch event. The film is expected to blend humour, entertainment and Sharwanand’s energetic performance with Vaitla’s distinctive style of filmmaking. Music composer Anup Rubens has been brought on board to score the project, further strengthening its entertainment credentials.
The team also surprised fans by announcing the release date on the very day of the launch. George Krish is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on January 14 next year as a Sankranthi release. With the combination of a popular star, an experienced entertainer and a festive release window, the project has already begun generating considerable interest among audiences and trade circles.
