Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy pledged to provide relief for the underprivileged impacted by encroachment removal from lake beds and project areas. He assured the allocation of 2BHK houses, fair compensation, and transferable development rights (TDR) for those affected.
Emphasizing the importance of city development, the CM urged residents to collaborate in the preservation and expansion of the city, highlighting the need to revive lakes and water bodies, widen roads, and alleviate traffic congestion. Reddy inaugurated the renovated Nalla Cheruvu lake, restored by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency.
While acknowledging the necessity of removing illegal structures to prevent flooding, he assured affected residents of government support and encouraged them to approach him along with their local leaders.
Additionally, the CM cautioned against obstructing development works and emphasized the significance of the Musi river rejuvenation project for the city's future. Reddy highlighted the government's commitment to investing in lake restoration, road expansion, and flyovers to facilitate the city's growth.
